I have been given a Canadian number which I really must phone, I want to know if it is correct. The number I have is digits and begins with , does anyone know what area code or weather it is a mobile or home phone number.

Its same as American, its ten digits but youd have a in front for longdistance. Like in , the is the area code, the is the local number youd call if you were in the area already. brbrThere is not usually a way to tell if its a mobile or home number because Canadian numbers can be ported from one to the other just like American numbers.
